DESCRIPTION

Hind pneumatic deleafer with 1 reversible blowing head from left to right (180°), 4 hydraulic movements with electro-hydraulic joystick, frame tilting of 30°, cardan, 3 point hitching in the back of the tractor.

FUNCTIONING

The air produced by a compressor reaches the rotors, hits the leaves in the surrounding grape’s area in the whole deepness. A selective defoliation in the fruiting zone is obtained.

POST-FLOWERING: Grape’s cleaning, removal of flowering residue, and all impurities on grape, it improves the penetration and efficacy of treatments, consequently reducing the amount of treatments with considerable costs savings. Improves ventilation within the grapes, preventing the formation of moisture that is harmful for the fruit development. Prevents from Botrytis. Early-stage leaves removal prevents from sun burning.
IN PRE-HARVEST: Facilitates manual harvesting with a saving of time of 30%, while with mechanical harvesting it eliminates moisture in the fruiting area and so a greater cleanliness of the crop can be reached, also fungicides and other impurities in the tanks of the harvesters can be reduced. Even in this phase the defoliator does not harm the grapes.
